The Tea Research Institute is committed to effective service delivery and in pursuance to implementation of its strategic objective of disseminating developed technologies, the Institute will endeavour to fervently, effectively and efficiently address customer needs at all times. In this regard the Foundation has established a Corporate Affairs Office under, Field advisory and Socio-Economics Programme. The Office will provide support to the stakeholders, in business development including responding to customer queries and assisting in the preparation of Research proposals. In general, the Office will assist in business development where it is viewed that the development may involve broader corporate implications.
The Foundation strongly believes that this office will be able through consultations to bring together the critical thinking and ideas of our stakeholders and provide a direct mechanism for engagement around issues and opportunities emerging in the tea industry and hence contribute to strengthening the Research - Farmer linkages for improved productivity and earnings for tea enterprises. Resolution of Public complaints
The Tea Research Institute has formulated a complaints resolution mechanism as per the guidelines of the Kenya Government and the Public Complaints Standing Committee (PCSC).
